The MC 834 condenser microphone features an extremely linear frequency curve and a frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. Due to its cardioid polar pattern it has a high gain-before-feedback. Without pre-attenuation, the microphone has a SPL capability of 130 dB, with pre-attenuation up to 150 dB.
It also offers a dynamic that cannot be reached by any digital recording system. The microphone has a balanced output and can be powered by phantom power between 12 and 48 V.
